The use of an accumulator tank is recommended to ensure smooth & reliable system function reducing the intervals between pump cut-in & cut-out when only small amounts of water are drawn off. The accumulator tank is precharged at 0.8 bar. If your pump's cut in pressure is different you may have to customise the tank to best fit your installation.
